Overall a great performance with a huge suggestion...
I bought section 4 floor seats for my kids as a huge surprise just before school started on Monday. The performance itself was amazing, a great lead up to Summer Slam, and Brock Lesner making an appearance was just the icing on the cake. My 11-year-old daughter couldn't see the entire time, we were 7 rows back. Every time someone in front of us stood up, she had zero view. The adults in front of her kept switching seats as other people got up, completely obstructing her view. She did not have a good experience at all and felt really disappointed as a result of not being able to see. I thought paying extra to sit on the floor would make for a spectacular experience for them. That is a huge letdown from big fans!

Rod was amazing, this was a special event for me and I got everything I could have hoped for. Thanks Rod for making a very memorable Birthday, I could not have wished for more. I also loved the smaller venue at Cesar's Palace, And to make a great event perfect when he sang hot legs my son's caught the last soccer ball of the song and presented it to me as a birthday gift. He sang the killing of Georgie which is a favorite of mine. I saw him with Stevie which was good while this was great. Rod seemed much more charming by himself and chatted with the audience a lot.

"The show's high energy and rocking music are definite pros. However, it was terribly mismanaged. The show ticket and all advertisements indicated an 8:00 p.m. start time, but many minutes passed without any explanation for the delay. The auditorium heated up as people arrived, with poor ventilation until the show finally started at 9:05. This lack of communication regarding the delay left us building up sweat. Despite these issues, Sesame Street Live! put on a good performance."

"Timeless. The lovely music, substantial yet intimate Paramount Theatre in Oakland, equaled perfection with his art and soulfulness. I danced freely to this great artist/poet and his attention to detail, reminiscent of a line out of Tambourine Man but I digress. I have never at a concert- as all those around me, I rocked it. Parking was helpful and friendly, right next door, concert personnel. A few days before the show, VIP tickets were great, all the extras matched this gorgeous venue. I purchased VIP tickets six months prior, and all the extras got me very excited for the upcoming concert. I had never seen Sesame Street Live! but knew he played a concert a week after 911 that my brother attended. It does not get much better than this. I would definitely purchase the VIP type tickets again as six months is a long time frame from ticketing to venue. Sesame Street Live! Touched my soul from the Heartland USA - 5 Stars Paramount Theatre Oakland - 5 Stars Ticketmaster- 5 Stars."
Melissa rocked the house!
Overall, a great night! The concert hall had excellent acoustics, and it was easy to navigate once inside. A great view, even from the back, made it a great experience from start to finish. Leaving the concert, the only drawback was the traffic (but what venue doesn't have that issue?) My first time at the Strathmore was easy to get to. As for Sesame Street Live!'s performance, they did a great blend of old and new songs and were on for a solid 2 and a half hours. You leave knowing a little more about them as performers. Their energy is contagious, and they love to perform. Their voices are stronger than ever. They always add to the songs and give their 2 cents prior to singing it, which I love about a Sesame Street Live! concert. They also let their band get into the show with some jam time.
POM show good, but Saliva was better!
Sesame Street Live! and Saliva for years now, but have been waiting was my first time to see anyone on the bill at this show. Their show left out a certain punch that Saliva's certainly carried, while Sesame Street Live! sounded perfect, which was what I expected. Maybe it was the difference in a singer who has to hold a guitar versus one that can move more freely with a microphone in their hand, but Josey and the gang got the crowd more involved, was higher energy, and just left me wanting more. Side note: When did Josey get so BIG? WOW. Anyhow, if you don't mind watching 4 guys stand and sing the POM set was great.
